I really enjoyed Mrs. Fletcher. I got into Tom's work years ago with Joe College and The Leftovers. This was a fun read.

Thrawn is one of the greatest characters in the SWU. My son is seriously excited for this one.

This is a great bio! It's the first one Paul cooperated with and it really shows! Amazing how many great songs he wrote.
|
The movie of the book. It is quite different but enjoyable all on its own.

One of the most fun books I've read. If you haven't read it, I both envy and roll my eyes at you. If you grew up in the 1980's it's a must read!

A great story for introducing the idea food allergies to kids. Check out my friend Alison's amazing book! She's at www.MotherNova.com

I just love Chris Moore. This is his latest. I've read everything of his over the years and always laugh and feel jealous about how clever he is.

Before he was giving me permission to use his lyrics in The Last Good Day, he was the Boss. This is a must-read for all Bruce fans. Great read!

I read every single book in the Iron Druid Series and wish I could go back in time and discover it for the first time again. Kevin Hearne is a great follow on Twitter as well.

I was late to the party with John Green. I really liked this one. Equal parts road trip and young love story. Movie isn't bad.
Joanna, along with Nathan Bransford were among my earliest gurus as I started by journey down the rabbit hole of writing and publishing. This is a good primer.
Colin Meloy, leader of The Decemberists, wrote this amazingly imaginative series of a Narnia-like world hiding just out of reach in the impassible wilderness outside of Portland. Read it on my own and with the kids. Great series!

I'd wished an Eagle would be on the cover but then, the Jinx...so, ok!

I had to read this one too, writing the genre I'm currently working in. Haven't seen the movie of this one yet.
My good friend Ginny Kochis from www.NotSoFormulaic.com put this together as a Mass journal for kids. It will be updated regularly so dive on in!
I need this.

This project is exciting. Loads of industry giants including my friend Kirsten Oliphant of www.Creatifwriting.com share advice and resources on the writing industry.
This is my son's suggestion. He really enjoyed it. Boyo loves the genre and even though some parts of the lexicon are no longer "canon," they are still fun.
I'm really looking forward to a third book in this series. Living with someone on the spectrum, so much of this book was especially funny and heartbreaking, yet educational.
