The Super-Spectacular- LAST GOOD DAY Easter Egg Hunt Spectacular!

Yes, I used SPECTACULAR Twice!  It's spectacular!

As you may have heard, my first novel, The Last Good Day is now available!  You can find it by clicking the cover page above.

Now that that's out of the way, let's have some fun!  My novel is littered with what they call "Easter Eggs," little references to either things in my life, things in the world, people in my world, etc.  For example, if you've been to Wildwood, lived in Mercer County, NJ, known me at all, or just have a sharp eye for details, chances are, you'll pick up on a few.  Some of you may even recognize references to characters that my Facebook family helped me name through one of my "Let's name a Character" games.  They were fun and the end result is that there are almost zero names or references that don't, as they say "Come from somewhere."

So, let's make it interesting.  As you find them, please post them in the comments below.  I will work to curate them over the coming weeks and months.  Perhaps I'll set an end date of September 1, for now.  Whoever finds and identifies the most "eggs" will win a prize pack that will include swag from Wildwood and a signed copy of book #2 in the Avery & Angela Series, The Next Good Day, which I hope to have available by Christmas.

So-Good Luck and may the odds ever be in your favor....

For example, here's a free hint: Every character name has a specific reason why they have that name. THey all came from somewhere. It might be music, a Jersey thing, a reference from growing up in Mercer county and Wildwood, or just that I ran into someone that day with that name...happy hunting!

Fairy Forts! My daughter introduced them to your daughter. Many were built on our Girl Scout adventures.

Chimes Manor is your Facebook friend. Llewellyn is of course my name suggestion. I am guessing that the vintage Gibson and 1980 Ovation Mahogany hard back are suggested guitars from Facebook or ones that you coveted as a youth. Anchor Inn must be the perfect name for a Jersey bar as asked for on Facebook. I remember submitting ridiculous names based on Bon Jovi and Bruce songs. Just trying to make you laugh.

"I Just Wanna Be a Sheep" is a song that we (my siblings and I) sang at vacation bible school @ Prince of Peace.

Jim's Country Diner is going to be reopened! The Singh family that owns City Auto (downtown) bought it.

That's awesome! I just wrote a scene there for book #2! In my world, it never closed...but no spoilers... I'll have to do an appearance there for book two maybe!

In the middle of Chapter 5 & so far I have the obvious Windsor High, Mister B's Pizza, & if I had to guess, I'd say that Frankie Lambert is a combination of 2 guys on the swim team!

I was right about the swimmers?! Yay me! Oh! And I was just telling my BF about the Easter Eggs. I flipped to a random page & IMMEDIATELY saw Pin Oaks Manor. I know that one too! The only house on that side of Old Cranbury Rd (before the new development moved in!)

You're not far off on Pin Oak, but not quite... :) Keep em coming!

Ok, then it's gotta be a combination of Pinehurst & Oakbranch! I also have "Z", Mr. Richie, and of course Mrs. D & her parties!! A lot of people have already said Jim's Diner & The Roach & such, so I won't bother! Oops!

Feeling like that John Mayer and Grateful Dead reference was for all the Dead Heads in your life.

The Dead was for you mostly, but it also was relevant to Mayer, who was a needed reference.

Wawa always counts! Because they rule!

Prudencio is a winner.

Phillies did lose that day.

There's a few lines in chapter 4 that I still chuckle at, which is saying something at this point.
